How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?
Laser hair removal works by emitting pulses of light that are absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in your hair. This light energy is converted into heat, which damages the hair follicle and reduces or completely stops future growth.
The treatment is most effective during the active growth phase (anagen phase), which is why multiple sessions are required to target all hair at the right time.
How many Laser sessions required?
On average, you’ll need 6 to 8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. The number of sessions can vary based on:
- Hair color and thickness
- Treatment area
- Skin tone
- Hormonal factors
After completing your series, you may need occasional maintenance treatments.
Is Laser Hair Removal it Safe?
Absolutely. Clinix Quatrix was designed with all Fitzpatrick skin types (I to VI) in mind. The inclusion of the 1064nm wavelength makes it ideal for darker skin tones, and the continuous cooling system ensures safety throughout the procedure.
Clinics that use Clinix devices can confidently treat a diverse range of clients without compromising safety or results.
Laser vs. IPL - What's the Difference?
Many people mistake IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) for laser treatment. However, IPL is not a true laser and lacks the precision and safety profile of medical-grade laser devices.
Laser hair removal uses a single, focused wavelength of light that targets hair follicles with high precision, making it more effective for a wider range of skin tones and hair types. In contrast, IPL emits multiple wavelengths of light, which scatter more broadly and can be less precise, often requiring more sessions and potentially being less effective on darker skin or finer hair.
At Clinix Lasers, our advanced multi-wavelength laser technology delivers consistent, targeted results that IPL devices typically cannot match.
Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?
Laser hair removal offers long-term hair reduction. Most clients experience a 70–90% reduction in hair growth after completing a series of sessions. Some maintenance sessions may be required, especially for hormonal areas..
Is laser hair removal Painful?
Not with Clinix. Our technology includes continuous contact cooling, which protects the skin and prevents superficial burns. Most clients describe the sensation as a mild warmth or a gentle snap — and many call it virtually painless, even in sensitive areas.
Why choose a clinic that uses Clinix Lasers?
Our flagship device, the Clinix Quatrix, is one of the most advanced systems on the market. Unlike traditional devices that use a single wavelength, Quatrix combines 4 wavelengths powered by revolutionary 4D Technology in one high-power platform with continuous cooling.
This combination allows for deeper penetration, broader coverage, safe faster treatments with long lasting results — for every skin tone and hair type.
